This employer is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join their team. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures for voice, data, and security systems with a focus on both on-prem and cloud environments. The Role

• Conduct site surveys and create structured network designs for voice, data, security, and audio/visual systems.
• Develop engineered drawings, specifications, reports, and other technical documentation.
• Collaborate with IT teams, project managers, clients, and vendors to analyze requirements and develop system designs.
• Implement and manage network solutions for on-premise and cloud environments.
• Oversee the production of network devices and architecture design, including all necessary supporting documentation.
• Ensure seamless integration of structured cabling designs with other engineering disciplines.

What You'll Need

• 5+ years of experience in designing, deploying, and supporting multi-protocol IP backbone and access networks.
• 3+ years of experience with deploying, upgrading, and troubleshooting multi-vendor network and security equipment (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco, Juniper).
• 3+ years of experience documenting complex network and security systems and procedures.
• Experience with Secret classified networks.
• Proficiency in security, routing, and switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS, L3VPNs).
• A Secret security clearance and a HS diploma or GED.
