Job Title- Cloud Data Architect

Contract Type: Full time

Role Summary
The Cloud Data Architect is responsible for designing and governing a high-performance, cost-efficient enterprise data architecture across conceptual, logical, and physical layers. This role defines cloud data models, data products, and scalable architecture while ensuring secure, reliable, and well-integrated cloud data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design cloud networking, integration patterns, security zones, and scaling models.
• Define and govern enterprise data models across conceptual, logical, and physical layers.
• Design data products for cloud-based platforms.
• Develop environment architecture and disaster recovery plans.
• Integrate metadata, data lineage, and DevOps processes into the cloud data platform.
• Collaborate with architects and data governance leads to ensure effective data architecture and governance.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in cloud solution design, including 3+ years working with modern cloud data platforms.
• Experience with Data Lake and Lakehouse architectures.
• 6+ years of experience in data architecture on cloud platforms.
• Proven experience designing data models for cloud-based data warehouses, preferably in Medicaid or healthcare environments.
• Strong collaboration skills with architects and data governance teams.
• Cloud Architect certification or equivalent experience preferred
