Sozialpädagoge / Sozialarbeiter (m/w/d), Kinder- & Jugendpsychiatrie | Edling, Germany | On-site We are expanding our renowned network of hospitals with a new, state-of-the-art child and adolescent psychiatric unit. This is a unique opportunity to be part of establishing and shaping a vital new service within a leading healthcare provider known for its high standards and national recognition. The Role • Provide psychosocial counseling and support to children and adolescent patients with psychiatric conditions in a resource-oriented manner. • Offer guidance on social law matters, assisting patients with applications and procedures. • Plan and secure sustainable aftercare, covering social, medical-therapeutic, vocational, and personal aspects. • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including doctors, psychologists, and other therapists. • Contribute to the development and implementation of care strategies within the new unit. What You'll Need • A completed degree in Social Work or Social Pedagogy (Diploma, B.A., or M.A.). • Ideally, experience in child and adolescent psychiatric care. • Strong social competence and empathy when working with individuals experiencing illness. • Resilience and stability in emotionally challenging situations. • Profound knowledge of social law, particularly SGB VIII. • A collaborative approach complemented by independent and responsible work habits.
