Job Description

Direct Sales Manager | Rochester, NY, United States | Hybrid We're hiring on behalf of a leading national provider of home security and automation solutions, recognized for its rapid growth and commitment to employee development. This is a key leadership role focused on driving sales performance and team success within a dynamic and supportive environment. The Role • Lead and coach a team of Outside Sales Representatives selling residential home security and automation solutions. • Spend approximately 70% of time in the field, leading by example and supporting the team, and 30% in the office managing operations. • Oversee daily activities, including interviewing, hiring, training, and motivating sales staff. • Assign and manage sales leads, track performance, and conduct regular coaching sessions and team huddles. • Ensure team success by actively managing attrition and providing ongoing support. • Maintain personal sales contributions while guiding and motivating the team through various communication channels. What You'll Need • 3+ years of outside sales experience, with supervisory or management experience strongly preferred. • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a sales team. • Proficiency with technical devices such as laptops and tablets for sales operations. • A proactive and driven attitude with a strong work ethic and a passion for sales. • Ability to travel within assigned territories and use a personal vehicle. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
