Junior/Associate Project Manager
Managed Services Provider | Financial Services Clients
Hybrid Working | London
£25,000 - £40,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

The Company
Growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) delivering technology, infrastructure, cloud, security and transformation services to leading financial services organisations across the UK. Their clients operate in highly regulated environments and rely on them to deliver critical projects that drive innovation, operational excellence and business growth.
As part of their continued expansion, they are looking for an Associate Project Manager to join their Project Management team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual at the beginning of their project management career who is passionate about technology, client delivery, and building a long-term career within a fast-paced MSP environment.

The Role
Working alongside senior project managers, technical consultants and client stakeholders, you will help deliver a range of infrastructure, cloud, networking, security and digital transformation projects for their impressive portfolio of financial services clients.
You will gain exposure to enterprise technologies, project governance, stakeholder management, budgeting and client-facing delivery while developing your project management skills within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, execution and successful delivery of technology projects from initiation through to completion.
  • Assist in defining project scope, objectives, milestones and deliverables with both clients and internal teams.
  • Track project schedules, budgets, resources and dependencies.
  • Coordinate activities across multiple workstreams and technical teams.
  • Monitor project risks, issues and change requests, ensuring appropriate escalation where required.
  • Prepare project documentation, status reports and stakeholder communications.
  • Facilitate project meetings, workshops and progress reviews.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed governance, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO and project delivery function.


About You
They are looking for someone who is organised, motivated and eager to develop a career in project management.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a project coordination, project support or project management role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Comfortable working across multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • A genuine interest in technology and project delivery.

Desirable Skills & Experience
  • Experience working within an MSP, IT services provider or technology organisation.
  • Exposure to financial services clients or regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Understanding of infrastructure, cloud, networking, cybersecurity or end-user computing technologies.
  • Experience working with leading vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper or Arista.
  • PRINCE2 Foundation, Agile Foundation or similar project management certification.
  • Degree in Business, Project Management, IT or a related discipline.
