Job Summary: The Associate Security Operations Analyst in an early career opportunity supporting HUB24's cyber security operations by helping to protect applications, infrastructure, cloud environments and end-user devices. This role focuses on day-to-day security operations, vulnerability management and incident response, working closely with technology and security teams in a highly regulated environment. You will be joining an award-winning fintech organisation as a member of collaborative and supportive cyber security team with on-going learning and career development opportunities. Responsibilities: Provide security administration, monitoring and operational support across cloud and some on-prem environments Monitor and respond to security alerts, incidents and service requests Proactively identify and remediate security vulnerabilities Support secure operations across networks, applications, servers and end-user devices Maintain accurate security documentation, procedures and registers Collaborate with internal stakeholders and act as an escalation point for security issues Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirementsAdditional Information: Occasional after-hours work may be required. Participation in an on-call escalation roster is required, for which you will be paid an allowance. Requirements: 1+ years' experience in an IT or Security Operations role Exposure to security tools such as CrowdStrike, Qualys, Microsoft Defender or similar Understanding of vulnerability management, security monitoring and risk assessment Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or similar) and Microsoft 365 Awareness of security frameworks such as ACSC Essential Eight or ISO 27001 Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences Relevant security certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security+) are highly regarded The Recruitment Process Acknowledgement email once your application has been submitted.
