Working closely with the wider HR team and stakeholders across the business, you will help ensure that HR processes are efficient, consistent and well structured, while acting as a key point of contact for employees and helping to create a positive people experience.

The business is currently experiencing a period of growth and transformation, with several significant HR projects underway. This is therefore an excellent opportunity for someone who is proactive, commercially minded and interested in how data, technology and AI can improve HR operations.

  • Proactively communicate with stakeholders throughout the onboarding process to ensure a smooth new starter experience

Employee Lifecycle Administration

  • Prepare and issue HR documentation throughout the employee lifecycle, including new starter, promotion, contractual change and leaver documentation
  • Coordinate the post-hire Early Careers journey, including professional qualification enrolment, assessments, performance reviews and feedback cycles
  • Provide high-quality administrative support across a broad range of HR activities
  • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline HR processes and ways of working

HR Operations, Systems & Data

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Input, manage and maintain HR data within the organisation's HR systems and dashboards
  • Produce reports and provide accurate HR data to support business and HR decision-making
  • Support the optimisation of automated HR workflows and processes as the business continues to grow
  • Maintain system-driven alerts and trigger points, including absence management and probation processes
  • Regularly review HR data to ensure accuracy, consistency and integrity
  • Ensure all employee information is handled confidentially and in accordance with data protection legislation and internal policies
  • Explore opportunities to use technology, automation and AI to improve HR processes and the employee experience

Payroll, Benefits & Reward

  • Support the monthly payroll process by ensuring accurate and timely HR data is provided
  • Assist with payroll reporting and associated administration
  • Provide general administrative support across employee benefits and reward processes

Learning & Development

  • Support the coordination and administration of L&D programmes
  • Assist with planning, communications, logistics and evaluation of learning initiatives
  • Support the delivery of development programmes for Early Careers employees
  • Assist with the analysis of annual review data to identify trends and themes that can inform future L&D priorities

Additional Responsibilities

  • Provide ad hoc support across the HR team and contribute to wider HR projects
  • Support colleagues during periods of absence or increased workload
  • Contribute ideas and initiatives that improve HR processes and the overall employee experience
  • Act as a positive ambassador for the organisation's people culture both internally and externally
