AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Role Overview

We’re seeking two AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineers to develop and enhance cloud-native applications and services. Candidates must have hands-on experience with AWS, Kafka, and Java, and be comfortable working in an Agile/DevOps environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance Java applications and services on AWS.
• Build event-driven integrations and applications using Kafka.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Create and maintain infrastructure and configuration automation.
• Develop scripts to support application development and deployment.
• Build and support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Integrate monitoring and logging into applications using monitoring tools.
• Apply cloud security and compliance practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams, document designs and technical changes.

Required Skills

• Mandatory: AWS, Kafka, and Java
• CI/CD: Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions
• Configuration management: Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
• Scripting: Python and/or Bash
• Monitoring and logging: CloudWatch and/or Datadog
• Containers: Docker and Kubernetes/EKS
• Networking: VPC, DNS, and load balancers
• Cloud security and compliance
• Agile and DevOps methodologies
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
