Remote COBOL Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Remote COBOL Developer in New York, NY.

Key Tasks:

• Support our client's legacy COBOL applications by performing analysis, development, enhancement, troubleshooting, and production support activities for business-critical systems
• Resource will work closely with the client's team to assess requirements, implement code changes, support integrations between legacy and modern platforms, perform testing, and ensure stable operations of COBOL-based applications that support ongoing HR and enterprise initiatives

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with mainframe environments, batch processing, incident resolution, and system integrations is preferred
• COBOL experience required

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
