DevOps Engineer

Location: Texas City, Texas, USA | Employment Type: Contract (CTC, W2) | Pay Range: $28-$70/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, automate, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with cloud platforms, containerization, infrastructure as code, automation, monitoring, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform platforms
  • Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
  • Configure and maintain Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps pipelines
  • Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or ELK
  • Implement security best practices, access controls, vulnerability management, and DevSecOps processes

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or a related field
  • Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows
  • Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps
  • Strong Infrastructure-as-Code experience with Terraform
  • Strong Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch
  • Understanding of cloud networking, IAM, security, and access management
