Pensions Calculations Actuary

We are partnering with a leading provider in the pension risk transfer market looking to hire a Pensions Calculations Actuary to join a specialist onboarding team.

This is a technical and project-focused role where you will:

• Provide expertise on complex defined benefit pension calculations
• Review and produce member quotations and benefit calculations
• Act as a subject matter expert on DB pension scheme structures and legislation
• Lead process improvement and operational enhancement projects
• Support, coach and develop junior team members
• Work closely with stakeholders across pensions operations and client services

About You

• Qualified actuary
• Strong DB pensions experience, ideally with a pensions administration or calculations background
• Detailed understanding of DB pension scheme benefits and regulations
• Experience handling complex member calculations and technical queries
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in a technical leadership capacity
