Role Summary
- We are seeking a highly skilled Data & Analytics Engineer with strong expertise in data modeling, advanced SQL development, data lineage, data harmonization, and data quality assurance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data solutions, ensuring successful delivery of data migration and analytics initiatives, and automating data validation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic across large-scale datasets.
- Define and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business and analytical requirements.
- Establish and maintain end-to-end data lineage to ensure traceability, governance, and compliance.
- Develop data harmonization and standardization rules to enable consistent data consumption across systems.
- Lead data migration activities, including data mapping, transformation, reconciliation, and validation.
- Design and implement automated data quality checks, reconciliation frameworks, and validation processes.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of migrated and production data.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, and engineering teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Monitor and improve data quality, performance, and reliability of data pipelines.
- Drive delivery commitments and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and issue resolution.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Expert-level SQL skills with experience writing and optimizing complex queries.
- Strong experience in data modeling, metadata management, and data governance.
- Proven expertise in defining data lineage and implementing data quality frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes and data migration projects.
- Experience developing automated validation and reconciliation solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead delivery and execute independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of data catalog, lineage, and governance tools.
- Familiarity with healthcare, finance, or large enterprise data ecosystems.
