Bioinformatics Software Engineer NGS, Remote

We have an immediate need for an experienced Bioinformatics Engineer with strong expertise in Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) data analysis, bioinformatics, clinical diagnostics, database development, programming, and cloud technologies to develop, validate, and implement software applications, data workflows, databases, and interfaces supporting advanced genomic testing and clinical reporting.

This is a remote position based in Secaucus, NJ, for a candidate with strong expertise in NGS data analysis, variant analysis, Dragen, BWA, VEP, FastQC, MultiQC, Samtools, Bedtools, Nextflow, Cromwell, CWL, AWS, Terraform, AWS CDK, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, R, Docker, REST APIs, JSON, Flask, React Native, Bootstrap, R Markdown, Jupyter Notebook, ggplot2, Tidyverse, Plotly, Matplotlib, Tableau, D3.js, Git, GitHub CI/CD, and GitHub Copilot. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and supporting bioinformatics pipelines, developing clinical data applications and databases, implementing cloud-native solutions, creating APIs and interfaces, performing data quality analysis, and supporting high-tier production workflows.

No subcontracting is permitted on this position. Candidates must be willing to work directly on our payroll.
