Senior Electrical Engineer, Digital Design Engineering

Position Summary This position is for an experienced electrical design engineer for a position in a growing computer engineering company based in the U.The candidate will perform various electrical design functions related to computers such as processor boards and peripherals, beginning with product definition all the way through release to production.

Perform general design activities as required
Create design output documentation (i.e. schematics, drawings, parts lists, etc.) Support Engineering Manager as necessary with special projects
Provide Project Management support, including project tracking (design plans) on new Engineering designs
Participate in Design Review activities providing input from an Engineering perspective
Act as a customer support resource as needed
Attempt to identify improvements in efficiency in processes and improvements in products and services and provide input to continuous improvement team
Minimum of 10 years experience in engineering design capacity
Knowledge of Schematic and CAD - PCB layout tools
Experience working in multidiscipline development teams, coordinating with mechanical, software, and other engineers
Experience in Intel architectures is helpful, including dual socket Xeon and server-class platforms
