• Contribute hands-on through coding, prototyping, peer reviews, infrastructure as code reviews, and engineering collaboration

• Drive cloud-native deployment standards, runtime architecture patterns, and platform delivery practices

• Establish and improve DevSecOps controls, automation, and security best practices within the platform

• Enhance platform observability through logging, metrics, tracing, monitoring, and reliability engineering practices

• Serve as an advocate for platform adoption, technical consistency, and engineering excellence across the organization

Key Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with recent hands-on application development experience

• Strong Java development experience with extensive Spring Boot expertise in enterprise environments

• Experience building, maintaining, or supporting products, platforms, frameworks, APIs, or shared engineering services within large codebases

• Hands-on experience deploying and operating applications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform cloud environments

• Strong Kubernetes experience supporting cloud-native application deployments and operations

• Experience with infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and automated software delivery practices

• Knowledge of DevSecOps methodologies, software security controls, and secure development principles

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical teams, provide guidance to developers, and influence engineering best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Python development experience

• Experience with observability platforms such as Datadog or similar monitoring solutions

• Knowledge of GitOps concepts and tools such as ArgoCD or equivalent technologies

• Experience with build automation tools such as Gradle or similar platforms

• Understanding of AI-enabled software development practices and how AI can be incorporated into modern applications and products

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills

Why Join This Opportunity

• Work on a highly visible enterprise engineering platform utilized across multiple organizations

• Influence platform strategy, engineering standards, and software delivery practices

• Collaborate with experienced software engineers and technology leaders

• Gain exposure to cloud-native architecture, DevSecOps, observability, and emerging AI-driven development capabilities

• Make a measurable impact on the speed, quality, and scalability of software delivery
