Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a Cloud Network Engineer with a strong blend of Cloud Networking and DevOps/Automation experience. The ideal candidate will support enterprise Azure and AWS cloud environments while driving automation, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing cloud network security. This role is customer-facing and will play a key part in preparing the environment for upcoming FedRAMP initiatives.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, configure, and support cloud networking across Azure and AWS environments.
  • Manage and maintain Cloudflare services, including WAF configurations.
  • Configure, upgrade, and maintain Palo Alto Firewalls and Azure Firewalls.
  • Implement and manage AWS Load Balancers and support migration to Azure Load Balancers.
  • Manage Azure DNS and cloud network connectivity.
  • Automate network operations using Python, GitHub, and Terraform.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain network security controls and firewall policies.
  • Support customer environments and troubleshoot cloud networking issues.
  • Improve automation and standardization to stabilize cloud environments.
  • Participate in FedRAMP readiness and cloud security initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong experience with Azure and AWS cloud networking.
  • Hands-on experience with Cloudflare (WAF, DNS, Security).
  • Experience administering Palo Alto Firewalls and Azure Firewalls.
  • Experience with AWS Elastic Load Balancing (ELB/ALB/NLB) and Azure Load Balancer.
  • Strong understanding of Azure DNS.
  • Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting for automation.
  • Experience using GitHub for source control and automation workflows.
  • Strong understanding of network security concepts.
  • Background in both Network Engineering and DevOps/Cloud Automation.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting FedRAMP or regulated cloud environments.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure automation and CI/CD.
  • Knowledge of enterprise cloud networking best practices.
