What You’ll Do

• Prepare a variety of baked items, including pastries, breads, cakes, tarts, and cookies, according to established recipes

• Mix dough, shape bread loaves and rolls, and prep ingredients for next-day production

• Decorate cakes, pastries, and platters, including adding fillings and finishing touches

• Maintain a clean, organized bakery station and follow all food safety and procedures

• Monitor inventory of supplies and ingredients, placing orders as needed to ensure smooth operations

• Ensure freshness, consistency, and high-quality presentation of all baked goods

• Package and store baked items properly while collaborating with the Executive Chef and kitchen team as needed

Qualifications

• 2+ years of high-volume baking experience in restaurants, hotels, or similar hospitality settings

• Strong knowledge of scratch baking methods, techniques, and specialty ingredients

• Exceptional attention to detail, pride in your work, and commitment to quality

• Excellent sanitation, organizational, and time-management skills

• Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs. repeatedly and work overnight shifts reliably with minimal supervision

• Culinary degree or formal training preferred but not required
