Position Overview: 
Overview
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the organization''s micro-segmentation program (Guardicore Centra), coordinating security, networking, and application teams to reduce attack surface and improve threat containment across data center and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end project plan for micro-segmentation rollout — scope, timeline, milestones, and budget.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (security, network, application, cloud teams) to align on segmentation priorities and dependencies.
  • Track deployment progress of Guardicore agents across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments; manage risks and remove blockers.
  • Facilitate traffic-flow analysis and policy-design workstreams, ensuring timely sign-off from technical leads.
  • Manage change control for segmentation policy rollouts to minimize business/operational disruption.
  • Coordinate incident response readiness activities tied to micro-segmentation containment capabilities.
  • Oversee creation of documentation, runbooks, and training materials; ensure knowledge transfer to IT/security teams.
  • Report project status, risks, and KPIs to leadership; manage vendor/Guardicore relationship as needed.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience managing security or infrastructure projects (network security, cloud migration, or similar).
  • Working knowledge of network security concepts, segmentation, and data center/cloud architectures (technical depth not required, but fluency needed to manage technical teams).
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) and tools (Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.).
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification a plus.
Preferred
  • Prior experience managing a Guardicore, Illumio, or similar micro-segmentation/zero-trust deployment.
  • Familiarity with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform and virtualization (VMware) environments.
  • Experience coordinating security incident response projects.
