Position Overview

TEKsystems is seeking Project Managers to support a broad range of initiatives across our client portfolio. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering projects that span technology, business operations, and organizational transformation.
Project Managers at TEKsystems partner with cross-functional teams to bring structure, clarity, and momentum to initiatives that may involve IT delivery, application development, modernization efforts, vendor platforms, or process improvement. The ideal candidate is adaptable, organized, and comfortable operating in dynamic environments with multiple stakeholders.

Areas of Project Delivery

Project Managers may support initiatives including, but not limited to:

• IT initiatives and enterprise technology projects
• Application development, enhancements, and system modernization efforts
• Automation and digital transformation initiatives
• Vendor management and vendor-led software implementations
• SaaS and third-party platform deployments
• Business operations and program management initiatives
• Process improvement and operational efficiency projects
• Data, reporting, and analytics initiatives
• Cloud enablement and infrastructure-related projects

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Lead projects through the full lifecycle from initiation through closure
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables
• Track progress, manage risks and issues, and ensure accountability across teams
• Adjust plans as priorities, timelines, or requirements evolve

Stakeholder & Team Coordination

• Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders
• Facilitate meetings, working sessions, and regular status updates
• Coordinate efforts across business, technical, vendor, and leadership teams
• Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies effectively

Organization, Documentation & Process

• Maintain clear and accurate project documentation
• Support requirements clarification and documentation as needed
• Establish and maintain repeatable processes that support consistent delivery
• Promote alignment, transparency, and operational efficiency throughout project execution

Execution Support & Problem Solving

• Identify risks, dependencies, and gaps early and proactively address them
• Support change management by documenting impacts and communicating updates
• Help teams stay focused and aligned in fast-paced or evolving environments

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Project Coordinator, or related role
• Experience managing cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders
• Strong organizational, communication, and facilitation skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements
• Familiarity with project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid frameworks
• Experience using project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Planview, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting technology, systems, infrastructure, data, or process-driven initiatives
• Exposure to vendor-led or cross-organizational projects
• Background in requirements gathering, documentation, or business analysis
• PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, Agile, or related project management certification preferred but not required

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Honolulu, HI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
