Facharzt (m/w/d) für die Zentrale Notaufnahme | Leverkusen, Germany | On-site We are seeking a dedicated Specialist Physician to join a leading hospital known for its comprehensive medical services, including surgery, orthopedics, and internal medicine. This facility is a significant provider in its region, handling a high volume of patients annually and holding certifications in specialized areas like hernia and spine treatment. The Role • Provide comprehensive medical care as a Specialist Physician in the Emergency Department, working closely with the medical and nursing team. • Support the Medical Director in organizing the Central Emergency Department and optimizing medical and operational processes. • Ensure effective interdepartmental communication and contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Emergency Department. • Supervise and mentor resident physicians and participate in the on-call physician rotation schedule. • Undertake further specialization in Clinical Acute and Emergency Medicine. What You'll Need • Completion of specialist training in Internal Medicine, Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery, or Anesthesiology. • A commitment to obtaining the additional qualification in Clinical Acute and Emergency Medicine. • Solid experience in acute and emergency medicine, including interdisciplinary care within an Emergency Department. • Ability to work independently, take personal responsibility, and maintain a patient-centered approach. • Proficiency with emergency structures and triage systems, strong teamwork, high social competence, and a confident demeanor.
