Job Description

Are you an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking to join a food manufacturing company based in Wellingborough? You will have experience of working within a FMCG environment and play a key part in minimising downtime, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Offering a salary of up to c£47,000 working Monday - Friday - no nights &amp; no weekends. Hours of work:<br />(Week 1) 6am - 2pm (Week 2) 2pm - 10pm (Week 3) 8am - 4pm If you are interested in this role - APPLY NOW via the job board. As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer your role will involve:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks in accordance with maintenance schedules<br />Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimise production downtime<br />Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on manufacturing and packaging equipment<br />Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance<br />Perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions<br />Maintain accurate maintenance records using the company's CMMS system<br />Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery<br />Ensure compliance with food safety, health &amp; safety, and engineering standards<br />Work closely with Production, Quality, and Operations teams to achieve business objectives Suitable Candidate:

Apprentice trained (NVQ Level 3, City &amp; Guilds, BTEC or equivalent)<br />Experienced within manufacturing environments<br />Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills<br />Experience with motors, sensors, inverters, conveyors, pneumatics<br />Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics<br />Strong communication and teamwork skills Desirable Previous experience in food, FMCG, packaging, or process manufacturing<br />PLC fault-finding experience<br />Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies<br />18th Edition qualification<br />Experience using CMMS software If you are interested in the above role, APPLY NOW via the job board
