Job Description

About Client:

Awareness USA (AUSA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting underserved students through peer-to-peer tutoring, life skills development, and social responsibility programs. Rooted in the principle of Humanity First, we empower middle and high school students to grow academically, socially, and morally—regardless of economic background.

Role Overview
We are looking for a mission-driven Program Coordinator to lead and grow Client Peer-to-Peer Learning Program. This role is all about making a direct impact—connecting with underserved students, bringing them onto our online learning platform, and ensuring they feel supported, engaged, and successful.

You’ll be the bridge between students, tutors, schools, and the community. If you care deeply about equity in education, love working with youth, and thrive in a role where every day makes a difference, we want to meet you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Outreach & Engagement – Connect with students, parents, and schools to introduce client peer tutoring program and onboard participants.
  • Program Coordination – Match students with peer tutors, schedule sessions, and monitor participation.
  • Student Success – Ensure tutoring sessions are effective and enriching; gather feedback and continuously improve the program.
  • Life Skills Integration – Help weave in life skills and social responsibility lessons into tutoring sessions.
  • Community Partnerships – Build grassroots connections with schools, districts, and community organizations.
  • Impact Tracking – Monitor student outcomes, report progress, and adjust strategies for maximum impact.
  • Support Growth – Contribute to fundraising, grant writing, and donor communications.

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience working in or alongside the U.S. K–12 school system (as staff, mentor, or volunteer).
  • A deep understanding of low-income or Title I school communities (lived experience is a plus).
  • A servant-leader mindset with genuine passion for equity in education.
  • Experience mentoring, tutoring, or guiding first-generation or under-resourced youth.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills—able to coordinate people and programs smoothly.

Why Join Us?
  • Be part of a purpose-driven mission that directly transforms young lives.
  • Opportunity to shape a growing program with room for creativity and innovation.
  • Flexible work options (full-time or part-time).
  • Meaningful community connections and the chance to make lasting change.
