In this role, you will:

  • Act as the subject matter expert for project delivery standards within the Portfolio Delivery & Enablement (PD&E), contributing to the Governance, Assurance & Standards function.
  • Lead the development, uplift, and ongoing refinement of delivery frameworks, ensuring they are fit for purpose, scalable, and aligned to both organisational needs and recognised industry practices.
  • Work closely with delivery teams and senior stakeholders to ensure standards are practical and usable, supporting strong governance without limiting flexibility.
  • Bring deep expertise in project delivery frameworks, with a strong focus on agile and hybrid environments, and a track record of influencing delivery practices at scale.
  • Have extensive experience applying and leading agile delivery practices across large, complex portfolios, ideally within government or highly regulated environments.
  • Demonstrate proven ability to design and embed enterprise level delivery frameworks that balance agility with governance and control.
  • Possess strong working knowledge of methodologies and frameworks such as PRINCE2, Agile, PMBOK 7 Performance Domains, SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban.
  • Support or conduct assurance reviews, including assessing delivery performance, agile maturity, and team effectiveness.
  • Have strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to coach and influence senior leaders to adopt and sustain modern delivery practices.
  • Have relevant tertiary qualifications in project management, business, information technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Hold certification in recognised delivery frameworks (e.g. PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner, PMI ACP, AgilePM, SAFe or similar).
  • Demonstrate understanding of NSW Government assurance and governance frameworks.
