Civil Project Manager (civil PM)

Project Manager – Sizewell C Location: Sizewell C, Suffolk Sector: Civil Engineering / Infrastructure Contract: Long term contract The Opportunity Our client has been appointed to deliver the construction of settlement and water management systems on Sizewell C as part of the site's wider sustainability mission.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong civil engineering background to take responsibility for the successful delivery of these works. If you have a background in highways, water, environment or rail, I would like to speak to you.

The Role As Project Manager, you will lead a team of four Supervisors, who in turn manage the labour and plant on site. You will be responsible for:

Managing the day-to-day delivery of the works and site team.<br />Managing and driving the project programme.<br />Providing technical input and resolving technical issues.<br />Liaising directly with the client and key project stakeholders.<br />Managing and coordinating the four Supervisors.<br />Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.<br />Coordinating labour, plant and resources to meet programme requirements.<br />Monitoring progress and identifying any potential delays or issues.<br />Working closely with the wider project team to ensure successful delivery.<br />About You We are looking for someone with:

A strong civil engineering background.<br />Previous experience managing civil engineering projects.<br />Good technical understanding of civils, drainage and/or earthworks.<br />Experience managing site teams and subcontractors.<br />Strong client liaison and communication skills.<br />The ability to manage programmes and drive delivery.<br />A proactive approach and the confidence to take ownership of a project.<br />Why Join?
