Production Operative – Temp to Perm

Location: Brackley Pay: £14.42 per hour (Temporary) | £30,000 per annum (Permanent)

Pertemps is recruiting on behalf of our well-established client in Brackley for a Production Operative to join their manufacturing team. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity, offering £14.42 per hour during the temporary assignment, increasing to £30,000 per annum upon securing a permanent contract.

Working Hours

This role operates on a rotating two-week shift pattern:

6:00am – 2:00pm

2:00pm – 10:00pm

Key Responsibilities

As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for:

Operating expansion and extruder machinery safely and efficiently.

Running the production process for loose-fill products.

Bagging products in the correct quantities in line with the production schedule.

Cleaning machinery and equipment after use.

Ensuring products are stored correctly.

Assisting with the loading of vehicles (an FLT licence is desirable).

Supporting goods-in activities as required.

Liaising with supervisors and managers to ensure production targets are met.

Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.

Adhering to all company health and safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Providing flexibility to cover holidays and sickness when required.

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience working within a production or manufacturing environment is advantageous.

A good understanding of health and safety within a production setting.

A reliable and proactive approach to work.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Willingness to learn and work flexibly.

An FLT licence is desirable but not essential.
