What you'll do

• Responsible for the test design of existing and new projects/features, with particular focus on ensuring that security features and potential security risks and risk controls are covered by verification testing.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual testing activities, and where required, assist in the execution of manual tests.
• Write and review integration and system level test protocols based on requirements in collaboration with the developers and the product owner/stakeholders.
• Prepare and document test plans and test reports.
• Assist in the preparation and documentation of project requirements, specifications, and release documentation.
• Mentor developers in test design for unit and integration testing.
• Work closely with DevOps Engineers to ensure tests are automatable and have access to appropriate compute/hardware resources.
• Conduct research on emerging application development software products, technologies, languages, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in designing and building test protocols for distributed database driven systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other equivalent qualification.
• Experience in Robot Test Framework is a plus.
• Excellent technical documentation writing skills.
• Experience mentoring test engineers to drive test automation design and development.
• Thorough understanding of test design, ideally with formal training in test concepts.
• Experience in web application testing and automated web application testing.
• Experience in cross team collaboration across time zones.
• Desirable: experience in regulated environments / development using V model of requirements and testing.
• Desirable: ISTQB Advanced - Test Automation Certification.
