Mid-Level Network Engineer - Manhattan, NY (4 days hybrid role) ()

We are seeking a Mid-Level Network Engineer with strong expertise in Cisco, Meraki, and Microsoft Azure networking to support and optimize enterprise network infrastructure. This is a 12+ month contract requiring Hybrid work (4 days/week) at Rockefeller Center, Manhattan, NY. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience managing on-premises and cloud-based networks, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing connectivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure using Cisco, Meraki, and Azure networking technologies.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud networking components.
• Integrate on-premises infrastructure with Azure Virtual Networks (VNets) using VPN Gateways and ExpressRoute.
• Implement and manage network security using Azure NSGs, Azure Firewall, VPNs, and access controls.
• Monitor and optimize network performance, resolve connectivity issues, and ensure high availability.
• Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and configuration records.
• Collaborate with IT teams, business units, and service providers to support enterprise networking initiatives.
• Participate in on-call support and respond to critical network incidents.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Cisco Routers, Switches, and Firewalls
• Cisco Meraki networking and Meraki Dashboard
• Microsoft Azure Networking (VNets, NSGs, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall)
• Strong understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, OSPF, and BGP.
• Experience implementing network security, VPNs, and firewall policies.
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as ThousandEyes, Cisco Prime, SolarWinds, Meraki Dashboard, and Azure Network Watcher.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• CCNA and/or Cisco Meraki Certification preferred.
• Experience supporting hybrid cloud networking environments.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
