Job Title: Epic Cadence Enterprise Scheduling & Prelude Registration Analyst
Location: Remote / Hybrid (NYC)
Duration: Contract / Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced Epic Cadence & Prelude Analysts to support patient access, scheduling, and registration workflows within a healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have strong Epic build experience, workflow analysis skills, and hands-on knowledge of scheduling and registration processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, build, maintain, and support Epic Cadence and Epic Prelude modules
- Support scheduling, patient registration, referrals, provider templates, and visit workflows
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and revenue cycle teams to gather requirements
- Perform workflow analysis, system configuration, testing, validation, and documentation
- Support upgrades, optimization projects, and new implementations
- Troubleshoot production issues and resolve tickets
- Participate in integrated testing, go-live, and post-production support
- Maintain provider records, departments, visit types, and scheduling templates
- Work with cross-functional Epic teams for integrated workflows
- Document build decisions, configurations, and change management processes
Required Qualifications:
- Epic Cadence Certification (Required)
- Epic Prelude Certification (Preferred/Required depending on client)
- 3 5+ years of Epic Cadence/Prelude analyst experience
- Strong understanding of patient scheduling and registration workflows
- Experience with Epic build, optimization, and support
- Knowledge of healthcare operations and patient access workflows
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Experience with testing lifecycle (unit, integrated, UAT)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Enterprise Scheduling
- Knowledge of Grand Central / Patient Access workflows
- Multiple Epic implementations or upgrade experience
- Experience in ambulatory or hospital scheduling environments
- Familiarity with work queues, decision trees, referrals, and RTE
- Strong communication and stakeholder interaction skills
