Mechanical Design Engineer

Our client is currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer on a contract basis in the West Midlands.

The key details are below:

• Job Type: Contract (OUTSIDE of IR35)
• Rate: £35-£40
• Location: West Midlands - hybrid (2 to 3 days a week on site)
• Duration: 6 months initial
• ASAP start

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Solidworks & 3DX
• Experience of battery pack & module design
• Very experienced in the design of metal components and ideally with parts for 3D printing
• Must be able to obtain BPSS security clearance and be willing to work on defence programmes
