Cyber Security Analyst
Location: Woburn, MA 01801 — Onsite
Duration: 6+ Months
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in threat hunting, SOC analysis, security data analysis, and cyber threat intelligence.Key Responsibilities
- Conduct proactive threat hunting across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments.
- Analyze SIEM, EDR, network traffic, endpoint telemetry, and security logs to identify threats and anomalies.
- Investigate suspicious activity, IOCs, and attacker TTPs using the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Develop and fine-tune security detection rules, alerts, dashboards, and hunting queries.
- Contribute to threat hunting playbooks and detection optimization.
- Correlate internal security findings with external threat intelligence.
- Prepare security investigation reports and communicate findings to technical and business stakeholders.
- Support vulnerability management and remediation tracking.
- Stay current with emerging threats, attack techniques, and cybersecurity trends.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in Threat Hunting, SOC Analysis, Cyber Threat Intelligence, or Cybersecurity Operations.
- Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, and adversary emulation.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft Sentinel, or IBM QRadar.
- Experience with EDR tools such as CrowdStrike Falcon or Microsoft Defender.
- Experience with email security platforms such as Mimecast, Microsoft Defender, or Microsoft Purview.
- Strong security data analysis and investigative skills.
- Ability to identify IOCs, TTPs, anomalies, and attack patterns.
- Basic scripting experience with Python and/or PowerShell.
- Excellent analytical, investigative, and communication skills.
- Bachelor''''s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
