Music Sales Associate

Music & Arts is seeking a passionate Music Sales Associate to connect customers with the right instruments, accessories, and lessons. In this retail role, you'll greet and guide students, parents, and educators, recommend band and orchestra gear, and support rentals, repairs, and lesson sign-ups. You'll process sales and maintain clean, well-stocked displays while meeting individual and store performance goals. Working on a collaborative, student-focused team, you'll help grow local music programs, build lasting customer relationships, and develop your skills in music retail and education support.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist students, parents, and educators in a retail environment
• Recommend instruments, accessories, and lesson options based on customer needs
• Support instrument rentals, returns, and repair service intake
• Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems
• Maintain organized, attractive product displays and stock levels
• Meet or exceed individual and store sales and performance goals
• Educate customers on financing, protection plans, and promotions
• Collaborate with team members to support school and community events
• Provide basic product demonstrations and explain instrument features
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve basic service issues
