Service Engineer Manager

Job Description

Are you an experienced IT leader with a passion for technology and people development? We are seeking a Service Engineer Manager to lead a team of IT Field Support Engineers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical support and a consistent technology experience across the region.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing, coaching, and developing a team of Service Engineers while acting as a key escalation point for complex technical issues. You will work closely with both local and global technology teams to deliver excellent service, drive continuous improvement, and support the ongoing modernisation of technology services.

We are offering a hybrid working contract where you will be required to attend the Dublin, Limerick or Belfast office 3 times per week, so you must be comfortable and flexible with travel and commuting for project and team meetings.

We're looking for someone with proven people management experience and a strong background in computer technology. You will have hands-on expertise in troubleshooting desktop and laptop computers, along with strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 (Office 365), macOS, VMware Workspace ONE, and other end-user technologies. Experience using remote support tools to diagnose and resolve issues on remote devices is essential.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be confident building effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels. You'll be a proactive problem solver with a customer-focused approach, capable of leading teams, managing priorities, and delivering an exceptional support experience.
