Role Description The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding Sukino's presence in the continuum care and chronic disease management space. This full-time, on-site role is based in Bengaluru and involves building and nurturing relationships with hospitals, clinics, physicians, corporate clients, and other healthcare stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and lead generation, conducting client meetings and presentations, negotiating and closing agreements, and collaborating with clinical and operations teams to design suitable service offerings. The role also includes market research, competitive analysis, and participation in events or outreach programs to strengthen Sukino's brand visibility. The Business Development Manager will track sales performance, prepare reports, and recommend initiatives to improve revenue and client engagement.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in healthcare, wellness, or related service industries.
- Strong skills in relationship building, stakeholder management, and client servicing to engage hospital partners, physicians, and corporate clients.
- Ability to conduct market research, analyze trends, and develop effective go-to-market strategies and growth plans.
- Proficiency in negotiation, presentation, and communication to clearly articulate value propositions and close business deals.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, basic data analysis, and reporting to monitor pipelines, conversions, and revenue performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Understanding of chronic care, wellness services, or AYUSH treatments is beneficial, along with sensitivity to patient-centric, ethical healthcare practices.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, travel locally as needed, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
