Lead Platform Engineer (Hybrid role need local to Virginia, DC and Maryland)

Position: Lead Systems/Platform Engineer
Location: Reston Virginia
Direct Client Requirement
Hybrid role once a week

This role will primary be in infrastructure provisioning and troubleshooting.
What is this team doing now:
Presently the client is amidst cloud migration and for the migrations the containerization of the application is done via EKS.
Gen AI work is being done, and this team is provisioning and troubleshooting the infrastructure for the Gen AI implementation.
This team handles all the infrastructure provisioning right from Development to Production.
This role will be supporting the Platform Operations and supporting AWS infrastructure provisioning, this can included migrations or building new tech stacks in AWS.

Looking for Platform Engineers.
Must have 10 years of minimum experience with 5+ years solid AWS experience.
Must have sold EKS experience around 4-5 years.
Must have experience with other AWS technologies like EC2, S3, AI- bedrock or sagemaker or RDS.
Infrastructure automation experience, client is using terraform for automation.
Must have EKS regularity experience, AWS security controls.
Must have some understanding Networking as this is needed for troubleshooting and provisioning.
Must have at least 1 AWS certifications.
Will also be working with Architects reviewing the architecture.
Must come from a regulated industry.
