Senior Technical Writer

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Technical Writer to join our remote team. In this role, you will create clear, comprehensive, and user-friendly documentation for our products, technical processes, and systems. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, excellent writing skills, and the ability to translate complex concepts into accessible content for diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, edit, and maintain technical documentation including user manuals, API documentation, onboarding guides, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles.

Collaborate with product managers, engineers, developers, and customer support teams to gather technical information and ensure accuracy.

Create visual aids such as diagrams, screenshots, and videos to enhance understanding.

Review and update existing documentation to reflect product updates and improvements.

Ensure documentation aligns with branding, style guides, and best practices.

Assist in creating onboarding materials and training resources for internal teams and customers.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

5+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in software or technology industries.

Strong understanding of APIs, software development processes, and technical concepts.

Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

Proficiency with documentation tools such as Markdown, Confluence, MadCap Flare, or similar.

Experience with graphic design and visual content creation tools is a plus.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.
