Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer (Resident)

Job Description:
This is a senior-level technical generalist role focused on supporting network, systems, and data center infrastructure. Candidates must be comfortable working directly with hardware, traveling between sites, and supporting critical, mission-driven environments. 
The ideal candidate brings strong experience across networking, infrastructure, and data center operations, and is comfortable operating in a regulated, high-safety environment supporting mission-critical systems.

Role: Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer (Resident)
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite / Field-Based)
Travel: Local travel to 15+ sites within the metro area
Duration: 12–24 Month Contract
Work Environment: ~90% On-Prem

Must-Have Experience:
Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking and Palo Alto firewalls
Background supporting data center environments (racking, cabling, power, cooling)
Experience with VMware and general infrastructure support
Familiarity with ITIL processes, patch management, and system lifecycle support
Experience working in multi-site environments
Must be local to Phoenix and able to travel between sites
Must have a clean safety record (work is performed in a regulated facility)
