Position Overview

The State of Michigan is seeking an experienced Senior IBM MDM & Integration Developer to support and maintain enterprise applications including Master Person Index (MPI), Michigan Index Data Stewardship Portal (MIDSP), and Symmetry.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance IBM InfoSphere MDM applications.

• Support MPI, MIDSP, and Symmetry applications.

• Develop and troubleshoot Java/J2EE applications.

• Work with Apache Kafka for application integration.

• Develop SQL queries using Oracle and SQL Server.

• Work in Linux/Unix environments.

• Develop Bash and PowerShell scripts.

• Work with WildFly application servers.

• Support application deployments, troubleshooting, and production issues.

• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test reports.

• Support UAT and post-implementation testing.

• Work with Git, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.

• Maintain technical and functional documentation.

• Collaborate with database, infrastructure, network, business, and development teams.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience.

• Strong experience with IBM InfoSphere MDM v14.x Standard Edition.

• Strong knowledge of MDM data models, entities, transactions, and batch processing.

• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka.

• 8+ years of Java/J2EE experience.

• 5+ years of Linux/Unix experience.

• Strong SQL experience with Oracle and SQL Server.

• Experience with REST/SOAP services.

• Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare experience.

• Experience with WildFly.

• Experience with Kafka and Strimzi.

• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD.

• Experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes.

• Experience with AWS or Azure.

• Experience with ELK / Elastic Stack.

• Experience with Flowable.
