Job Description: Network Operations Manager

Job Summary

The Network Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization's network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance. This role leads the network operations team, manages network projects, monitors system health, and implements best practices to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily network operations and performance.
• Lead and mentor the network operations team.
• Monitor network availability, capacity, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to minimize downtime.
• Plan, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and internet connectivity.
• Coordinate network upgrades, maintenance, and disaster recovery activities.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards.
• Work with vendors and service providers for network services and support.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, procedures, and reports.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to support organizational objectives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of networking technologies, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and team management abilities.
