Job Description

Job Title: Java SDET with Banking or Financial Domain Experience

Location: : REMOTE (EST and CST based candidate)
FULLTIME
Security Clearance: High Security / Enhanced Background Clearance required

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Overview: Responsible for supporting the migration of existing, production-ready Java applications from an on-premises data center to a co-located (colo) environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate Java application code, configuration parameters, and environment readiness during the transition to the co-located data center.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve environment discrepancies, connectivity issues, and system dependencies between applications.
  • Manage code versioning updates (up-merges and down-merges) to keep the migration environment aligned with ongoing production updates.
  • Update and maintain technical documentation, including server naming conventions, environment mappings, and configuration settings.
  • Support system integration and application connectivity with downstream payment and messaging systems.

Key Requirements & Technical Skills:

  • Core Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in Java and application servers (WebSphere).
  • Database: Experience working with Oracle database, should have experience writing SQL queries.
  • Environment & Tooling: Familiarity with data center configurations, environment verification scripts, and pattern checking.
