Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with 5–7 years of expertise in data analysis, reporting, visualization, and business intelligence. The ideal candidate will transform complex datasets into meaningful insights, create interactive dashboards, and support strategic business decisions. This is a full-time remote opportunity for professionals who are passionate about data-driven problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, validate, and analyze large datasets from multiple data sources.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to monitor business performance.
  • Interpret trends, identify opportunities, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
  • Perform data quality assessments and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Create KPIs, scorecards, and performance metrics to support business operations.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and present findings to leadership teams.
  • Automate recurring reports and improve reporting efficiency using BI tools.
  • Document business requirements, analytical methodologies, and reporting processes.

Required Skills

  • 5–7 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and data manipulation.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Macros).
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker for dashboard development.
  • Experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy) or R for data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization best practices.
  • Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
  • Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, or BigQuery.
  • Exposure to predictive analytics or basic machine learning concepts is a plus.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence and reporting automation tools.

Education

  • Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
