Security Engineer- North London/ Enfield/ Hertfordshire- £33,000-£40,000

  • Covering North London, Enfield & Hertfordshire
  • Basic salary of £33,000 - £40,000 per annum

Security Engineer Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Security Engineer to join an established independent security company based in Hertfordshire.

This is a field-based role covering North London, Enfield and Hertfordshire, carrying out the installation, servicing, maintenance and fault finding of a wide range of electronic security systems. The successful candidate will join a friendly and professional team with opportunities to increase earnings through overtime and call-out payments.

Security Engineer Role & Responsibilities

  • Install, service, maintain and fault-find Intruder Alarm, CCTV and Access Control systems.
  • Attend customer sites across North London, Enfield and Hertfordshire.
  • Deliver a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
  • Complete service reports and job documentation accurately.
  • Participate in a paid on-call rota (1 week in every 4).
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with industry standards.

Security Engineer Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience installing and maintaining electronic security systems.
  • Experience working on Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Access Control systems.
  • Knowledge of manufacturers such as Texecom, Galaxy, Aritech, Paxton, Avigilon, Hikvision and Genie is advantageous.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • Willingness to participate in the on-call rota.
