QA Automation Engineer – AEM

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Full Stack Java development, and API/Web automation testing. The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for content-managed web applications, validate functional and performance behavior of APIs and UI components, and collaborate closely with development, content, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality, reliable releases.

Key Responsibilities

•      Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for Web Application Testing, Functional Testing, and Unit Testing across Java/J2EE-based applications.

•      Build and execute API Automation and API Testing Automation frameworks to validate REST and GraphQL services.

•      Develop and maintain automation scripts for AEM and AEM DAM components, including content authoring, templates, workflows, and digital asset management validation.

•      Perform Load Testing and performance validation using JMeter to identify bottlenecks and ensure application scalability.

•      Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for continuous testing and delivery.

•      Write and optimize MySQL queries to support test data setup, validation, and back-end verification.

•      Collaborate with front-end and full stack developers to test HTML/CSS/JavaScript-based UI components and ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.

•      Work within Content Management Systems to validate content workflows, publishing pipelines, and DAM integrations.

•      Participate in code reviews, defect triage, and root-cause analysis to drive continuous quality improvement.

•      Document test plans, test cases, automation frameworks, and results for stakeholder visibility.

Required Skills & Experience

Qualifications

•      Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

•      2-5 years of hands-on experience in Full Stack Java development and test automation, with at least 1 year of experience in JavaScript, Jenkins, and MySQL.

•      Proven experience testing AEM-based Content Management Systems, including AEM DAM.

•      Strong understanding of API automation (REST/GraphQL) and functional/unit testing principles.

•      Practical experience with JMeter for load and performance testing.

•      Solid grasp of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end validation.

•      Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

•      Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Preferred Attributes

•      Prior experience working within enterprise CMS or digital experience platforms.

•      Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline design beyond basic Jenkins integration.

•      Strong ownership mindset with attention to detail in a fast-paced delivery environment.
