Job Description

Role : Senior Data Quality Developer

Location: Quincy, MA – Hybrid

Interview Process: 1–2 Video Interviews + 1 Onsite Interview


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data quality validations, rules, and monitoring processes using Informatica and other DQ tools.
  • Configure and maintain Informatica EDC and Axon, including business glossaries, dashboards, policies, search, and Axon Maps.
  • Work with data stakeholders to understand data governance requirements and translate them into Axon workflows and processes.
  • Define and implement data quality standards, best practices, and governance processes.
  • Research and implement solutions for data mastering and data management.
  • Develop and enhance applications using Java and JavaScript.
  • Develop web-based tools supporting data mastering and data quality solutions.
  • Perform data extraction, manipulation, analysis, and validation across large-scale data warehouses.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data analysis and quality validation.
  • Review ETL code and identify potential data integrity and quality issues.
  • Design and develop data visualizations, reports, and scorecards using Tableau, Cognos, or similar BI tools.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues.
  • Document technical processes, data quality rules, solutions, and procedures.
  • Communicate findings and present analysis/results to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Data Architecture, Engineering, QA, Analytics, and Business teams.
  • Support integration of data governance, quality, and workflow processes across teams.
Required Skills
  • Strong experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).
  • Hands-on experience with Informatica Data Governance / EDC / Axon.
  • Strong understanding of Data Governance and Data Quality Management.
  • Advanced SQL skills.
  • Experience managing and analyzing large-scale / multi-terabyte datasets.
  • Strong understanding of data quality principles, rules, validation, profiling, and monitoring.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Healthcare / Medicaid / MassHealth data.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud and Snowflake.
  • 3+ years of Java development experience.
  • Experience with JavaScript and web application development.
  • Experience with Python.
  • Experience with Tableau, Cognos, or other BI/visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing.
  • Knowledge of Linux and Shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with statistical modeling and machine learning.
  • Understanding of cloud architecture and networking.
  • Experience working with large enterprise data environments.
  • Strong documentation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple cross-functional teams.
