Job Description

Gauge Engineering Services is seeking Radar Software Engineers to support the development, integration and test of scalable, software defined, supportable, S-Band multi-mission capable radar systems. These systems will consist of fixed, transportable, and surface ship radar systems.

Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and optimize real time, multi processor software for radar and complex electronic systems.

  • Implement back end software features using modern object oriented C++.
  • Debug, test, and validate real time software components to ensure reliability and performance
  • Develop and optimize algorithms for radar control, signal processing, and system simulation.
  • Perform GPU accelerated development using CUDA to enhance processing throughput.
  • Conduct rigorous software testing, verification, and automated test execution.
  • Apply software modeling and architecture techniques, including UML and model based design.
  • Execute Requirements Verification Tests and document results with traceability.
  • Collaborate within Agile development teams using Git, GitLab, Linux, and the Confluence tool suite.
  • Integrate software components into radar, C4ISR, space, electronic warfare, or other complex electronic systems.
  • Utilize automated test tools and techniques to improve test coverage and efficiency.
  • Support system level integration activities across multi domain platforms.
