Position: Sr. IBM iSeries Software Engineer

Location: Houston - TX

Duration: 12+ Months Contract W2/1099

 

Required Technical Skills

• Strong IBM i (AS/400) development experience

• RPGLE / Free RPG

• Embedded SQL and advanced SQL development

• Relational database design

• Web Services and API development

• SDLC and Agile development methodologies

• ERP or other enterprise business application experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Modern Development Experience

Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:

• Python
• Django
• JavaScript
• React (preferred over Angular)
• HTML5 / CSS
• Docker
• Cloud-based application development
• Business Intelligence tools AI & Modern Software Engineering
