JOB DESCRIPTION:

As an AI Tech Strategic Programs Lead, you will be responsible for leading high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that define the operational cadence and long-term success of the organization. Combining the analytical rigor of consulting with hands-on technical program execution, you will evaluate complex organizational challenges, design scalable operational frameworks, and drive strategic alignment across leadership.

You will act as a connecting tissue between field teams, Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs), Product Management, and external stakeholder ecosystems. In this role, you will lead consultative problem-solving engagements, establish strict project governance frameworks, define resource allocation models, and proactively eliminate cross-functional blockers to ensure our technical capabilities are optimally deployed in the market.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic Program Architecture: Architect, launch, and govern large-scale strategic programs across the AI Tech organization, ensuring rigorous milestone tracking, risk mitigation, and operational excellence.
  • Executive Stakeholder Management: Act as a trusted advisor to leaders and directors across Engineering, Go-To-Market (GTM), and Strategy & Operations (S&O), driving strategic consensus and alignment on top business priorities.
  • Consultative Problem Solving: Apply structured consulting methodologies to diagnose organizational bottlenecks, build comprehensive business cases, and execute transformational operational improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Blockade Resolution: Identify and systematically eliminate resource, organizational, and technical blockers across Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) teams, Product Management, and field sales teams.
  • Prioritization & Allocation Frameworks: Partner with S&O and leadership to refine customer engagement prioritization frameworks and design resource allocation models that balance market opportunities with engineering capacity.
  • Executive Readiness & Playbooks: Develop high-impact briefing materials, strategic playbooks, and executive summaries to articulate program progress, ROI, and delivery impact to senior Google leadership.
  • Ecosystem Positioning & Alignment: Drive initiatives aimed at enhancing the visibility, branding, and strategic positioning of AI Tech capabilities across Google and our external partner ecosystem.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor''s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, program management, or operations within a global technology enterprise.
  • Experience managing large-scale, complex cross-functional projects from inception through execution and measurement.
  • Proven track record of interacting with and influencing C-level clients, executive stakeholders, and senior engineering leaders.
  • Experience developing and executing multi-year business, operational, or technical strategies
