Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Quality Assurance Analysts and Testers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

1. Develop and execute test cases and test scripts based on user stories, requirements, and project specifications.
2. Perform functional, sprint, regression, API, integration, and system testing while documenting execution results and defects.
3. Analyze application behavior, database results, batch processes, and interfaces to identify and troubleshoot issues.
4. Collaborate with development, business, and project teams to review requirements, participate in project activities, demonstrate results, and support defect resolution.
    

Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education	Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience	5+ years of experience with software testing, including hands-on manual testing, test case development, defect management, and Agile testing practices.
Technical Skills	Manual Testing, Test Case Design, Regression Testing, API Testing, SQL, Oracle Database, ALM/JIRA, Linux/Unix
Business / Domain Skills	Agile/Scrum Methodology, SDLC, Requirements Analysis, Defect Management, Quality Assurance, Functional Testing
Communication	Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation	Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization	Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience testing enterprise applications and supporting functional, integration, and regression testing activities.
2. Familiarity with test automation concepts and scripting within existing or new testing frameworks.
