Manufacturing Technician

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Manufacturing Technician - Onsite position with a Major Pharmaceutical Company located in New Albany, OH. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This is a 100% onsite role requiring a 12-hour rotating night shift (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM). The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection and packaging of product-filled vials according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in a GMP manufacturing environment. This position involves setting up and operating equipment, performing routine maintenance, and documenting activities in batch records.

Responsibilities:

• Routinely perform moderately-complex to complex processes according to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
• Perform inspection and packaging of product-filled vials per procedures and batch records
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
• Set up and operate equipment, including manual and/or electric pallet jacks
• Assist or participate in other manufacturing operations (e.g., filling support activities)
• Support internal operations such as stocking items, tracking inventory, and material movement
• Recognize and report malfunctions and make necessary adjustments to equipment
• Train new team members on routine tasks
• Understand, follow, and document batch records for the inspection and packaging process
• Reconcile components and products, and calculate product exposure to room temperature

Requirements:

• High school/GED with 1 year of work or military experience, or an Associate's degree
• Filling and finishing manufacturing experience, preferably with vial inspection
• Understanding of measurements, calculations, and the metric system
• Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Skilled in computer literacy
• Committed to continuous learning through self-motivation
• Effective in a collaborative team environment

Pay range: up to $23.35 per hour
