- Administer and support enterprise Sitecore platforms across cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Manage AWS cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and platform operations.
- Ensure the availability, performance, security, and reliability of Sitecore applications and supporting infrastructure.
- Work collaboratively with development, architecture, security, and support teams within Agile delivery environments.
- Location: Brisbane (primary); Melbourne (secondary).
- Eligibility: Australian Citizenship is required.
The Sitecore Systems Administrator / Cloud & DevOps Engineer is responsible for administering, supporting, and optimising enterprise Sitecore environments and the underlying cloud and infrastructure platforms that support them.
This role combines Sitecore platform administration, cloud operations, DevOps engineering, infrastructure automation, and production support. The successful candidate will work closely with developers, architects, delivery teams, and business stakeholders to ensure secure, scalable, and highly available digital platforms.
The role operates across AWS, Windows Server, Linux, Kubernetes, and Azure DevOps ecosystems, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation frameworks, and modern engineering practices to support platform stability, continuous delivery, and operational excellence.
Qualifications (Required)- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 4 years' experience in Systems Administration, Cloud Engineering, Platform Operations, or DevOps environments.
- Hands on experience administering and supporting Sitecore CMS/DXP platforms in enterprise environments.
- Experience managing Sitecore deployments, upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, and environment support activities.
- Strong experience with AWS services including EC2, ECS, EKS, Load Balancers, DNS, CDK, and Cost Explorer.
- Experience managing Azure DevOps Build and Release Pipelines using YAML.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies including Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
- Experience managing and supporting Kubernetes clusters and containerised workloads.
- Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
- Experience administering Windows Server environments; RHEL/Linux experience is highly desirable.
- Experience with operating system lifecycle management, including scaling, patching, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
- Experience managing SSL/TLS certificates and certificate lifecycle processes.
- Experience using Git and Artifactory for source code and artifact management.
- Experience supporting application and infrastructure environments, including incident management, problem resolution, deployment coordination, and root cause analysis.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to independently investigate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
- Strong technical documentation, stakeholder management, communication, and risk management skills.
- Experience participating in deployment, patching, and operational support activities.
- Experience with Akamai CDN, web acceleration, or edge security services.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals including domains, DNS, DHCP, load balancing, routing, and connectivity concepts.
- Experience supporting enterprise digital experience platforms (DXP) and customer facing web applications.
- AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Microsoft Azure, Linux, or DevOps certifications.
- Exposure to Cyber Security practices, vulnerability management, and cloud security controls.
- Experience supporting cloud migration, platform modernisation, and infrastructure automation initiatives.
- Experience working in large scale enterprise, government, or regulated environments.
