Role: Senior Kafka Engineer
Location: Irvine, CA
Job Type: Contract (W2)
Duration: Long-Term
Required Experience: 12+ years
Looking for a strong Senior Kafka Engineer with hands-on experience in Kafka, AWS, SRE, automation, and platform engineering.
· Strong Kafka and AWS experience supporting high-scale distributed systems
· Observability: distributed tracing, event logging, APM, synthetic monitoring
· Strong understanding of SRE practices and production troubleshooting
· Experience building automation and self-service platforms
· Web services and messaging protocols
· Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible
· OpenShift / Kubernetes experience
· CI/CD experience with Jenkins and Git preferred
· Strong troubleshooting, RCA, and solution engineering skills
Agile / SAFe knowledge is a plus
